Coastal Delights
Situated on the banks of the Blackwater Estuary, our beautiful location offers waterfront delights at every turn – from sailing, boating and dinghy racing across the large expanses of water with over 64 individual creeks to explore, through to paddle boarding, windsurfing and freshly caught oysters, right on your doorstep.
Here, adventure is at your fingertips.
Heybridge Basin
Just a 20-minute walk from our holiday home development, Heybridge Basin was originally built to enable sea-going vessels to enter the canal and unload cargo enroute to Chelmsford. A favourite for locals, it’s the perfect place for a waterside pint overlooking splendid views – or, if you prefer, a lovely cup of tea and a scone at the famous Tiptree Tearooms instead.
Topsail Charters
Step aboard for an unforgettable river cruise experience on board a vintage Thames Sailing Barge. Available regularly from Hythe Quay, there’s a range of options you can choose from, including bird watching tours and cream tea cruises. No matter which you choose, you’re sure to remember it for a lifetime.
